Director


Derry Hodge, MICA, FCG, PHD is a former professor and Dean of Workforce Training, and has over 17 years of experience in academic and professional education. With an interdisciplinary background, he holds degrees in theology, finance and international business, and a professional diploma in governance, risk, and compliance with distinction. He is a member of the member of the International Compliance Association, and a fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute. His current role at the RMI involves strategic development and quality assurance of professional courses and training programmes tailored for the financial services industry of the BVI.

Having taught accountancy for over 8 years, Davinia has supported 1000’s of people across the world to success with their professional exams.

Davinia completed a degree in Financial and Business Economics at Royal Holloway, University of London before joining the accountancy field. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) working in Audit Practice and Corporate Finance with Mazars LLP in Brighton, UK. She then joined BPP Professional Education as a tutor in their London office in 2008 teaching Audit and Financial Reporting papers.

She has taught students from across the world online and in classrooms across the globe. She has a passion for teaching excellence and has supported the success of several global prizewinners in the ACCA examinations.

An expert in Professional learning, she understands the needs of students and tutors of professional qualifications.

Rose Chapman is a Compliance and Anti-corruption professional with over 20 years’ experience in international corporate environments, including Australia Mutual Provident, General Electric, Travelport and Willis Towers Watson, where Rose held Financial Conduct Authority Controlled Functions of Compliance Officer (CF10) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (CF11). Rose gained a reputation for developing compliance and anti-money laundering systems and controls by evolution rather than revolution, including training programs to keep personnel at all levels ahead of the curve on regulatory change.

Rose’s book: “Anti-money Laundering, a Practical Guide to Reducing Organisational Risk” was published in London and New York by Kogan Page on 3 May 2018. © Rose Chapman, 2018 Rose achieved a Masters of Law Distinction in International Corporate Governance, Financial Regulation and Economic Law at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London in 2012.

Rose has also earned Distinctions in 2 Post Graduate Diplomas, Anti-Money Laundering Financial Crime, and Financial Services Regulatory Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA). Rose has lectured for the ICA for a decade, with greater activity now that she is Principal Tutor and Compliance and AML Program Manager for the Robert Mathavious Institute of the British Virgin Islands.
