Foundations in Accountancy
ACCA’s foundation-level qualifications – known collectively as ‘Foundations in Accountancy’ (FIA) – comprise three Diplomas that are based on 7 subject papers. Each Diploma is completed in succession as one progresses to the ACCA Qualification.
The Diplomas provide a choice of starting points so whatever your existing experience, you can take a step towards a globally recognized qualification. They are suitable for you if you are just starting out in finance or, if you work in finance but have no professional qualification to show for your experience yet.
In addition to the technical exams, you will also need to complete a professionalism and ethics module called ‘Foundations in Professionalism’ before you can be awarded the relevant diploma qualification.
